Lambda Sensor.
To replace it remove the battery terminal so you will not have power. Loosen the bolts (use liquid wrench or wd40 for this will be rusty) exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold (driver side) and then you need to loosen the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold to the part where it connect exhaust pipe from the other side of the exhaust manifold (passenger side) and then you need to loosen the electrical wire from the starter and then loosen the bolts that connect the starter now you can wiggle the starter to pull it out you need to try to figure out how to get it through the loosen exhaust pipe ( but it should come out)
because your gas tank is in the center
You have to remove the exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold on starter side. Now you have access. Get exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold gasket first, you will probably need to replace it after taking them apart.
Back 1 Is the drivers side head and exhaust pipe . Follow the drivers side exhaust pipe back towards the muffler and you will see the O2 Sensors screewed into the exhaust pipe. I believe there's 2 per pipe.
Drivers side of the engine in the exhaust pipe below the exhaust manifold.
The opposite side of the exhaust pipe. If its dual exhaust, whatever side works best for manufacturing.
before the cat converter on the exhaust pipe on the passenger side of the motor, down beside the gearbox. has a large nut on the side of the exhaust pipe and a wiring harness and plug coming out of it.
on the exhaust y-pipe on the passenger side
it has 2 mufflers. the exhaust pipe splits into two pipes and the you got a muffler on each side of the car...
An exhaust pipe is used to excrete the co2 from the gas that has been burned in the engine it is usually snakes to thw back or side of the truck so that it is out of the way. If you get a bigger exhaust pipe than the stock one you can usually get some more power from your engine. You can also get an exhaust kit with a switch the can change the amount of exhaust exiting the pipes.
Bank 1 is the drivers side head. The sensor you want will be screewed into the drivers side exhaust pipe and will be the 2ed one back towards the muffler in the drivers side exhaust pipe.
That will be the passenger side head. Look at where the exhaust pipe bolts to the exhaust manifold and it will be the first 02 sensor you see starting there and moving down the exhaust pipe.
