Revelation 3.12 states - Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and
he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name.
The 'new name' of Jesus, that he says that he will write on his believers, is his own name - Lord Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name, (Ephesians 1.21), for there is none other name under heaven whereby we must be saved, (Acts 4.12).
New Jerusalem is mentioned in the Book of Revelation (3:12, 21:2).
Twice; Revelation 3:12 and 21:2.
The dragon is introduced in Revelation 12:3, but is used throughout the whole chapter. A dragon is also mentioned in Revelation 13.
YES. In the New Earth and in the New Jerusalem every son and daughter of Yahweh will receive a new name to go with their new, perfect, heavenly immortal body. Revelation 2:17 We each will get a white stone, and inside the stone will reveal your awesome new name :) Even our brother JESUS receives a new name! Revelations 3:12. But Yahweh, Our Almighty Father and God will never change His Name, because 'YAHWEH' is His name Forever! Exodus 3:15 Did you read when Moses & Elijah came to visit Jesus, Peter, James and John on the Mountain top? Well, in the New Earth, all their names will be changed! haha how cool is that?
There is a "great fiery-colored dragon, with seven headsand ten horns..." (Revelation 12:3, 4) picturing Satan the devil. He was cast out of heaven down to the vicinity of the earth (Revelation 12:7-9) where he will mislead the people of the earth until he is restrained (Revelation 20:1-3) and then destroyed once and for all.(Revelation 20:7-10)
2 Peter 3:13 Revelation 21:3, 4
John 8:44 2 Corinthians 11:3 Revelation 12:9 1 John 3:8 Revelation 20:10 1 Peter 5:8
Additionally:Jesus also mentions the Holy City to come in Revelation chapter 3; that "overcomers" will be made an integral, structural part of His Father's Temple in New Jerusalem."He who overcomes - I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of My God, and he shall never go out from it again. And I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the City of My God, the New Jerusalem, which is to come down from heaven from My God, and My own New Name." (Rev.3:12 WEY Weymouth's New Testament)
The seven benedictions can be found in Revelation 1:3, 1:6, 4:11, 5:12, 7:12, 19:4, and 22:21.
'7' Signifies divinely determined completeness, as to Jehovah's purposes or to Satan's.(Revelation 1:4, 12, 16; 4:5; 5:1, 6; 10:3, 4; 12:3)
One thought:The Bible does not mention any of their original names. The descriptive name "Satan" is used to allude to the leader of the demons (fallen angels), but that was not his original name. The word 'satan' meaning 'opposer' and 'devil' meaning 'liar / slanderer' were given to him after his rebellion in Eden(John 8:44; 1John 3:8)(Genesis 3:1-5 / Revelation 12:9)pointing out what he'd BECOME. The term Beelzebub was coined by people to describe Satan, possbily meaning 'Lord of flies' or Lord of dung'.(Matthew 12:22-27)The demons are never mentioned by any name.(Revelation 12:9)
A number of words are only used once in the book of Revelation, but the particular list of such words varies depending on the translation. For example, "ark" is only mentioned in Revelation 11:19 in the King James Version. Likewise, the name Moses only appears in once in Revelation 15:3.
