I am from Paraguay so I can answer this. It is chilly in the winter, but not half as cold as New Jersey, however in the summer it can get pretty hot. Depending on the weather you like, you should go. It isn't a very famous or popular country so there are not many tourists. If you go in the winter (in NJ) it would be summer there and if you go in the summer (in NJ) it would be winter there
