The Popes have been very vocal about Freemasonry for hundreds of years, outright condemning it, declaring it incompatible with the Christian faith, and forbidding the Faithful from getting involved with it. Both John Salza and Michael Voris quote the Popes and the various documents they have issued in regard to Freemasonry. I would read John Salza's books first to get a good grasp on the subject, John Salza was a Freemason, Shriner, and Lodge Officer and deeply involved in the Masons for many years, teaching the rituals, etc.
