no they stopped using Call of Duty numbers after Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, but did release a sixth game called Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
No neither Game uses numbers after Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare the number system stopped. Call of Duty World at War was the fifth game and the first not to be numbered. The sixth game in the Call of Duty Series is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Call of Duty Black Ops is the seventh and newest game. They are said to be working on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 although no release date or official name has been given. Also, if you plan to get Black-Ops don't get it this November, I went to my local gamespot on it's release date and there was a line that went out the door!

no there was not even a Call of Duty 5 it was Call of Duty world at War and Call of Duty Final Fronts. For the next release instead of Call of Duty 6 they released 3 different Modern Warfare titles
There never was a Call of Duty 5 (Correct name: Call of Duty World at War) or a Call of Duty 6 (Correct name: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2). The newest Call of Duty that has been released was Call of Duty Black Ops (Called Call of Duty 7 inaccurately) Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 or COD 8 is scheduled for release in November 2011 if it is not delayed or released under a new title.

There is no call of duty 6. call of duty six is black ops.
call of duty is the series... call of duty 6 is the 6th game in the series... if you mean black ops, no it isnt.
