Heat pump efficiency can be expressed in SEER rating, with 13 being a mediocre heat pump. Infinity currently has the most efficient energy pump on the market, with a SEER rating of up to 20,5. American Standard, Comfortmaker and TempStart provide units with a 17+ SEER rating.

This is a straight cool 13 SEER condensing unit that uses R410a refrigerant. This is not a heat pump.
It depends what you use more, A/C or heat. The SEER rating pertains to cooling efficiency. The HSPF pertains to heating efficiency.
It is greater. You need to look for the SEER (Seasonal Engergy Efficiency Rating) to see the true engergy rating of the heat pump.
rheem uses the middle numbers to list the BTU/hr. 60 BTU/Hr is 5 Tons.
