I like the "tiddly-pom principle". Things do tend to build up like that and "tiddly-pom principle" is a much better term for it than "snowball effect". I like how Hoff uses so many of Pooh's poems and songs as examples and phrases throughout this book. They are one of my favorite parts of Milne's books and really mean Winnie-the-Pooh for me
