The University of Queensland has many campuses. The St Lucia campus in Brisbane is a well-run, well-equipped campus with numerous boarding houses, some co-ed, some men's and some women's, so there is a wide choice. The lecturers are among the best and the university enjoys an excellent reputation for high academic standards. Graduates from the University of Queens;and enjoy a high employment rate.
The campus has regular bus services to and from it, to the city, other suburbs and to nearby Toowong railway station. The campus is also right by the river, so as well as having the opportunity to be involved in rowing, there are regular ferries to the city. There is now a wide walkway and busway to the other side of the river at Dutton park.
I will admit to a personal bias towards the St Lucia Uiversity of Queensland campus, having attended there myself many years ago. In October, there is a mass of flowering jacaranda trees which make a brilliant purple avenue at the lower end of the campus. The lake is a beautiful place to relax between classes (or on weekends). It really is a beautiful setting.
