Well, consider there are are 31.1 grams in a troy oz and 14k gold is 58% of real gold and the rest is a mixture of other metals so it can retain its durability. Since your gold is 25 grams, you take the gold for the day, which is $947 and do as follows: ($947) X (.58) = $549 for a troy oz (31.1 grams) of 14k gold Since you only have 25 grams, then . . . Let $549/31.1= $17.60 per gram Then $17.60 X 25 grams = $441.30 Keep in mind that very few buyers will pay you actual cost.
