No way to find out.
"Good" is a relative term. Assuming 70% overall condition, about $350. Note that cracked forends or buttstocks, completely gray metal or rust is definitely less than "good." In less than 90% condition, Auto-5's are valued more as shooters than as collector pieces and pre-war 16ga shotguns should definitely be checked for chamber length. Yours originally had the older 2 9/16" chambering and should not be used with modern 2 3/4" shells. sales@countrygunsmith.net
Browning doesn't publicize the process. There is a good article in a related shooters magazine at the link below. I hope this is helpful
This gun was made in 1938. In fair condition expect $350 to $500 depending. These pre-war guns are not favored by shooters, and collectors are looking for guns with high percentages of finish and original condition.
Yes, it has a straight down bottom eject.
Many new shooters begin with a .22 LR semi automatic, such as a Ruger Mk III, or a Browning Buckmark. Both are good quality, accurate, durable, relatively inexpensive, and the cost of .22 ammo will allow you to shoot a lot more.

Never. They're still manufactured, typically as replicas, and with the purposes of catering to CASS shooters.
The 'Z' indicates that the gun is a "Light 20" model. Values of these Belgian A5's have skyrocketed with mint condition guns over $1000. Shooters will bring somewhat less. sales@countrygunsmith.net
