There is no set weight limit to riding a horse.
However, horses can carry 1/3 of their weight. If your weight is more than 1/3 of your horses, you can cause injuries and soreness. And eventually the horse will become sway (its back will curve in) with age.
People should choose a horse that is strong enough to hold them. Make sure of this to be sure you are not harming your horse.
Are you asking is it okay to ride a horse when they are on just hay? It is completely fine to ride a horse that is on just hay. My horse is fat as a cow and she was on all hay, no feed all summer. I rode her regularly.
native Americans i think!
you ride a minichre horse like someone would ride any other horse
Nope, who ever said that is a bit to cocky. Every person has to have a lesson before he can ride properly. I admit they have more strength so can probably stay on longer then a girl can on a bucking horse. But i tell you if my dad or brother were to get on my horse Binx they couldn't ride.
Did Pocahontas ride a horse in clothed?
A horse should never carry more than 20% of it's own body weight on it's back, this includes tack and anything else that may be put on the horse. To find out if you or another person is too heavy you can weight the person and the equipment. Then if you know the horse you can do the following math equation to see if they are within the safe weight range. Horses weight -80% = weight they can carry. If the weight of the person and equipment is over that number then they cannot ride the horse.
Get a stronger horse or lose weight
Miniature horses were never bred for riding and should not be ridden by anyone. The smallest ride-able equine is the Shetland pony.

Yes it does matter. No horse should ever carry more than 20 % of it's own bodyweight, this includes the riders weight and the tack. Many stables have a 250 pound weight limit on the people they will let ride a horse. Keep in mind the 20% rule applies to fit horses, a fat horse will not be able to carry more weight just because it is heavier, in fact it would only be capable of carrying less than 20% until it became fit and healthy.
You can really ride a horse how much you want depends on the horse is it fit? is it over weight and needs excersising? you could ride it every day if you really wanted to but not for a very long time.
because if the horse spooks it could hurt itself or a person passing by.
