first, problem won't happen. the 9mm case might fall down the beretta barrel. the 40 cal. is a larger case then the 9mm. so, you can't fire a 9mm in a 40 cal nor a 40 cal in a 9mm barrel...........your safe....... Well, I did it! The 9mm was picked up by the receiver and fed into the barrel. It fired but the extractor could not extract the swollen cartridge. I have reason to believe the bullet bounced down the barrel and tumbled on its way to the target. BUT...what COULD have happened?!?!

The worst that would likely happen is a major case rupture which could result in you missing a hand and your eyes. Theres a very good reason they stamp the caliber on the side of firearms.

Where can you find ammo for 375 Winchester XTR big bore 94?

Being that this caliber was only in production with this rifle for 2 years,1983-1984.I would say that you may have to look hard but it may be found.Try gunbroker.com,and maybe Old Western scrounger might have a few boxes.I happen to handload for this cartridge because at one time I had this caliber in a Marlin model 336.The brass and bullets have been in my possession for many years.

What will happen if you shoot a bullet but the bolt did not fully close yet?

The term is cartridge (bullet is the part of a cartridge that comes out of the muzzle) The condition is known as "out of battery firing", and it is very dangerous. At a minimum, the cartridge case will explode. The gun may be damaged or destroyed, the shooter could be injured or killed.

What will happen if you unscrew the top of a 22 bullet?

The top of the CARTRIDGE is the bullet- and they are not threaded, so they don't unscrew. The cartridge case is crimped onto the lead bullet. Playing with ammo- especially rimfire ammo like the .22, is dangerous. If the rim (which contains the primer) is crushed, the cartridge can explode. Strong likelihood that is going to hurt you.

If you drop a bullet and it hits the ground will it explode?

Bullets have no explosives. You may be thinking of a cartridge, which is a case, powder, primer, and bullet. It is very unlikely that the cartridge will do much of anything, but if the primer is struck hard enough, it can make a loud bang, but is unlikely to hurt anyone.
