What are the traits of White nose syndrome?

you get a white nose duh anybody knows that one Well, yes. Bats in caves and mines during the winter show a fungal growth around their muzzles, hence the nickname. The fungus may also appear on their forearms, ears, and tails. The wings may show signs of dryness, or have actual holes or missing sections from the fungal infection. In later stages, the bats will be very emaciated, having lost most of their stored body fat. Bats' behaviors may also change dramatically. They may be flying outside during the day in the middle of winter, when they should be hibernating. They may be clustered during the hibernating season in sections of the caves or mines not normally used for winter roostin, especially near the entrance, thus abandoning their normal roost locations. The bats may also not arouse as usual after being disturbed.
