This gun was mfg in 1981. Value varies by condition and configuration. Having the original box and papers may add $25-40 to the value. Right now, the most desirable model 66s are the 2-1/2" barrels. One of these in VG condition, with the original wood grips may fetch $375-400. A 4" or 6" bbl model 66 in VG condition is probably $325-350. A well-used Model 66 may only bring 2/3 of that. Good luck. The information above is correct for a model 66. However a 66-1 has 75% factory engraving and in VG condition is worth $1,500 to $2,000.
