Manufactured in 1905
The New Ithaca Double models were first made in 1925, but the starting serial number for them was 425000. If it was a New Ithaca Gun (NIG), then it would have been made in 1890-91.

The Ithaca 37 Featherlite shotgun with a serial number starting with 98 was likely manufactured in the late 1970s to early 1980s, as the serial numbers in that range correspond to that production period. The value of such a shotgun can vary widely based on its condition, ranging from around $300 to over $800 for models in excellent condition. To determine if it was manufactured at the Ithaca, New York plant, you would need to consult specific production records or a detailed database, as the Ithaca plant closed in 1986 and production was later moved.
I have a partial answer and plan to submit a question. Ithaca hammer shotguns with serial #'s below 33011 were produced before 1899. I have a hammer double barrel stagecoach shotgun with serial # 15864. I will post a question to find out its age.
I'm unable to provide the specific age of a New Ithaca field grade 12 gauge shotgun with serial number SN460718 as firearm age can vary based on manufacturing date and production records. You may contact the manufacturer or a firearms expert to help determine the age of this specific shotgun.

It's a Lewis or NIG model, built in 1903. Value is from $50.00 for a wallhanger to $1000.00 or more for one in new condition.
Sounds like this is a "New Ithaca Double". Depending on condition, I see these selling for $350-$500 on Gunbroker.com.
NID with serial # 446018 was made in 1927
Assuming that it is a double, this is a New Ithaca Double (called a NID) manufactured from 1926 to 1948. The higher grades in excellent condition are valued at several thousand.
