Harveys Bristol Cream.... I have a 750ml bottle original superior sherry, that's very old, never opened, is it OK to drink? Or should I sell it as a collector's item, and what price should I ask? Tom D.

According to Wikibooks and some other sources, St. Brendans has 17% alcohol (ABV), and is therefore 34 proof.
It doesn't. Believe it. If anything, it makes the effect of alcohol worse because of it's sugar content. Sugar and alcohol is a perfect prescription for getting horribly sick.
No. because it is cream sherry and therefore sweet.
I read on another website that most milk or cream alcohol products will start going off as soon as opened unless they have an alcohol level of above 20%. Tia Maria has a 20% alcohol content so I guess it's ok. I heard alcohol that's tightly shut with high alcohol content can last a few years.
No brand of commercial ice cream contains alcohol.

Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur is 17% alcohol by volume. "Shot" isn't well defined. (Utah defines it legally as 1.5 ounces, but elsewhere in the US it can be anywhere from 1 to 1.5 ounces, weighted somewhat towards the upper end). So figure out what size your "shot" is, then multiply by 0.17 to find the alcohol content.
Cream that has a fat content around 30%
