Biomedicine is the application of Biology and physiology to clinical medicine, or the branch of medicine which studies the effects of environmental stress on organisms, most usually in space travel.

Applied Physiology also guides us about the effects of space, climate, temperature, pressure, winds, humidity, aging, other conditions such pregnancy and the care to be taken for better health. Applied Physiology also informs about the effects of fragrance, colors, music, dance, masssage and so on on life. This perspective is extemely important to avoid getting carried away by the misconception "Applied is synonymous with Clinical". Clinical Physiology is small aspect of Applied Physiology. In Clinical Physiology also there is application of the knowledge of Physiology in diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutics. Applied Physiology can help us prevent diseases through the knowledge of immunity.The Applied Physiology seeks to know the effects of soil status, chemical and organic fertilizers, pesticide and such factors on crop and its effects on the human life.
