No, there are no volcanoes named Costa Rica, but there are volcanoes in Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is a country in Central America.
by width i am to assume that you mean the distance from the Pacific Ocean to the Caribbean Sea, that is roughly 76 miles at its narrowest point (122 kilometers) and 172 miles (276 kilometers) at its apparent widest point (from Punta Guiones the westernmost point in Costa Rica to around the area of Barra Del Colorado in the Caribbean side). It is substantially 'wider' than Panama which is perhaps the reason the Panama Canal was built in that country. There was talk of originally building the canal in the Rio San Juan (which divides Costa Rica from Nicaragua) but those plans were abandoned when the area of Panama was deemed more suitable.
no, Costa Rica is not dangerous.
"Es de Costa Rica" means that whatever is being discussed is from Costa Rica. Literally it means "is of Costa Rica."
