There is no difference between 'today's' and 'past' designs. Apart from being partly ruinous, Stonehenge is exactly as it was intended when built around 4,500 years ago. In respect to how it was designed, that has recently been shown to have been based on simple geometric construction. See the "Related Topics" below.

Recent archaeological investigations have shown that Stonehenge was built on the same site as a much earlier structure of earth and timber, dating to 5,000 years ago.The Temples at Abu Simbel date to early in the reign of Ramesses II, about 1280 BC or about 3,291 years ago.The site and use of Stonehenge is therefore much older, but its stone circles were not completed until about 3,800 years ago.
It is called an "alignment". A perfect alignment, all planets in one line, as is frequently shown in cartoons for example, has a probability of zero. That is to say, it is so unlikely that it may be considered impossible.
Not necessarily, research has shown that the people buried there had authority. Like Shamans (they are from the Paleolithic period - healers who can communicate with the spirits). However I cannot say that their ancestors were buried there - as it depends on their authority.
CAD is used by designers to design a product using a computer. The benefits of this is that the design can be shown to, and modified by, many people. It also allows them to see if the design will work when manufactured or can be made. It is used in virtually all areas of design.
No, the geocentric theory states the Sun orbits the Earth. It has since been shown to be incorrect, thanks to modern astronomical observations and mathmatics.
