Well, it may sound sad, but it allows Bluestar to die. Then a flame rises from the dust (Fireheart) and claims leader of ThunderClan. His name is Firestar!
So without having the book, ThunderClan wouldn't have a new leader. And Fireheart was destined to be the fire of the clan.
