Three seconds on the 100m dash!
Madeline Shepherds is the name of a Kennel that breeds, shows and trains GERMAN SHEPHERD DOGS. They have been around for some time and are pretty well known in the gsd community. They have had a multitude of winning dogs within the AKC show rings.
Yes...and no. There are purebred, registered German Shepherds who happen to be white. However, under the AKC they are disqualified for showing in the breed ring. This led to a movement to create a separate breed called the White Shepherd (as opposed to the white German Shepherd) under the UKC (United Kennel Club). There was a period of time when a registered white German Shepherd could compete under either breed, but I believe they are now considered two separate breeds. Owners of white German Shepherds had to choose which they wanted their dog to be. Part of the reason for this split is not just about color. On average, White Shepherds have more of a traditional look than modern AKC show German Shepherds. White Shepherds have level backs and are not over angulated, going back to what the German Shepherd was in the 60's and 70's.
Any between 1-7, although 3-6 is average
You can't really give an average time for this, I'm afraid. All dogs are different, and it would depend on how many pups.
Brought over by the Americans.
In my opinion, the German Shepherd is way better. They are more of a family dog. They are really protective of their family. The only time they bite you is if you be mean or they are playing around with you.
The latest recording was 3 seconds.
a German Sheppard can also be called an "Alsatian" named for the region in France called the Alsace which at one time long ago belonged to Germany.
it depends on how much time and care you are willing to give.
Usually by the time they are 8 to 12 months old
Lead the dog into the kennel with the same command, 'In your bed' 'bed' ect whatever you feel best with. Over time the dog will hear the command and get in the kennel immediately.
German Shepherd's are born with naturally floppy ears as their cartilage in their ears has not yet developed enough to support them. Most German Shepherd's ears will stand up eventually, all though there are sometimes Dogs that retain their floppy ears. The vast majority, however, will have erect ears in time.
