I don't think there is a limit on what age you have to be to have a tv in your room...

It really depends on how the child acts. If they are mature i really believe it then is up to whether he or she is at the approprate age around 13 and over. If the child is imature and is under the age of oh ten or eleven i believe that it isn't necessary for them to have a tv in their own room.
