to calculate the price of the fabric depends on various factors. 1) quality wt of the fabric. 2) weaving cost ----depends on pick in the fabric 3) dyeing n finishing cost 4) packing cost 5) excise n transportation cost 6) profit 7) extra cost eg. a fabric having epi-84 ppi-42 rs-57" warp 30s cotton, weft-16S cotton then weight of the fabric is - 20.5kgs( warp wt=10.5kgs-weft wt=10kgs) lets assume the price of cotton 30S is 350rs/kg and 16s cotton is 200rs/kg then price of grey fabric is -(wt of warp x price of warp) / 100 + (wt of weft x price of weft)/100 =rs56.75 assuming 50paise per pick weaving cost then -42x0.50=21 rs total price =56.75+21=rs-77.75 the price calculated is grey price Rs-77.75 plz add other prices which will lead to some way around rs-100-120 for more info .. mail on regards ramesh rameshvp80@gmail.com
