To measure the size of a person's head, use a flexible tape measure
You can't. You need an estimate of p (p-hat) q-hat = 1 - p-hat variance = square of std dev sample size n= p-hat * q-hat/variance yes you can- it would be the confidence interval X standard deviation / margin of error then square the whole thing
You need both a tape measure and a sizing chart to determine your hat size. You measure your head at the crown which is it's widest part where the hat will sit. Then you use the measurement to find your size on a chart. You can find these online.

I'm eleven, and I've always been told I have a big head. However, since the average size is 7 1/2, and I'm 7 1/4, so I have a small head. Hurrah! I'm not entirely sure this information is accurate, since my dad is smaller then that, and he's about six feet tall.

Size small (size 4-6). You see, the size is the age. If you're 11 years old, then your size is supposed to be a kids size large (10-12). If you're 5years old, then you're supposed to be a kids size small (5-6). D'ya get what I'm sayin'?

In order to determine your hat size you have to get a tape measure and measure the circumference of your head 1 inch above ur eye brows. After that find a hat-sizing conversion chart to determine what your hat size is.
