There is no certain number that horse breeders typically have on their farms. Breeders can have one stallion, ten stallions or none if they feel that stallions are too much trouble to manage. The same goes for mares, a breeder could have one, one hundred or none and just stand stallions to the public. However many 'average' breeders will have a various number of mares and maybe a stallion or two.
Depends on what you're breeding them for, bloodlines of the horses and popularity of your horses and farm.
There are 61 horses and 10 chickens on the farm.
Before plows, farm horses would pull a plow like-device to help with crops. Nowadays, farm horses are used as horses to ride, like schooling horses
Yes. Horses are farm animals themselves in many cases.
The average livestock trailer will fit about 2 horses. Any more horses would require atleast a 16 ft trailer. However, this would also depend on preference. If this trailer is being used for a long haul as living quarters, you may not want your horses too cooped up. However, if it were a simple trip to the vet, 2 horses per average trailer would be fine.

You are supposed to: 1) Write two equations, one for the number of heads (express it in terms of the number of cows and horses, which of course are expressed as variables), and one for the number of legs (also expressed as an equation in terms of the number of cows and horses. 2) Solve the two equations simultaneously.
