∙ 11y agoI don't know about "average" time, but an associates degree is intended to be earned over a two-year period of full-time study. Period.
If one pursues it part-time, then, obviously, it takes longer... maybe three or four years... maybe even longer. Most schools put a limit on how long you're allowed to let it take, though, so be careful.
It's best, of one can, to take it really seriously, and do it full-time for two years.
