There is no particular or perfect weight for a 13-year-old boy (or a person of any age). This is because weight is related to height and body composition rather thanage. For more information, or to see the height/weight charts, or to learn about the causes of unwanted weight gain, see the page links, further down this page, listed under Related Questions.

Meanwhile, here are a selection of example answers from WikiAnswer users:

  • I know an average, kinda muscular, 13-year-old who weighs 112 pounds and is only 5' 3."
  • I am 13. I am 5 foot 9½ and I weigh 130 pounds.
  • I'm a 5' 4" and a 13 year old boy and I am 110 to 107 pounds
  • I'm 5ft 8 inches and weigh 160 pounds.
  • I am 5' 4" and weigh 125 pounds.
  • I'm 13. I am 4' 10" (I know that I'm small) and weigh eighty pounds.
  • I'm 13 and I am 5' 5" and I weigh 125 pounds.
  • I am 13 years old 5"3 and I weigh 140 pounds.
  • I am 13 years old 6"1 and I weigh 210 pounds
  • I am a 13-year-old boy. I am 5' 2" and I weigh about 125 pounds. I do sports. So, I have muscle and muscle weighs more than fat.
  • I am 13 years old 5" 5 and I weigh 135 pounds.

As stated earlier, there is no ideal weight for 13-year-old boy because weight is related to height and body composition rather than age. So, for in-depth information about:

  1. the distribution of weights and heights of children at various stages
  2. the causes of unwanted weight gain
  3. or the best diet and lifestyle to reduce or prevent unwanted weight gain in children or teenagers, please see the page links, further down this page, listed under Related Questions.

* I would say between 115 and 125 lbs.

* There is no 'average' weight for a 13-year-old boy (or a boy of any age) because weight is related to height and body composition, rather than age. For more information about weight in relation to height, and to see the distribution of weights and heights of children at various ages, please see the page link, further down this page, listed under Related Questions.

Weight is related to height and body composition rather than age. A 13-year-old boy might weigh between 100-110 lbs but that is when at an average height. It all depends on the height and body composition. For more detailed infomation, see the related questions and answers, further down this page, listed under Related Questions.

With all due respect you MUST have a pediatrician give you a weight target. This is the safest, smartest way. He/she can give you a range to shoot for and a healthy eating plan too.

I have taught Weight Watchers for 9 years, we can help you but you must get a signed Dr.'s note to sign him up and have him attend.

Blessings!
