A house cat called Rusty always looks into the forest beyond his Twoleg Place. He was about to go have a look when Smudge, a mostly white but calico tom stops him and asks Rusty where he is going. Smudge warns Rusty about the dangers of the forest and how wild cats live there. But Rusty ignores his rumours and goes into the forest/wild (That is why it was called that. Then when he gets there, he was about to pounce on a mouse when he saw a puffy, grey tail. Rusty follows it and ends up in a small fight with a grey cat. When they stopped fighting, the cat (Greypaw) told Rusty about the four Warrior Clans and things about the forest and how Shadowclan are mean. Then Bluestar and Lionheart end up coming and telling the grey apprentice off for being too near Twoleg place. But then... Bluestar asks Rusty if he would like to join the clan, because way too many warriors had been killed in a small period of time and the group / clan of cats (Thunderclan) Had never so few apprentices.
