There is no one answer to your question- otherwise there would be only one 9mm pistol made. It ill be the weapon that YOU shoot best, and is the most reliable in functioning. I am partial to the Browning Hi Power, other people prefer the Glock, some like the Sig, some S&W, some Mauser, Walther, Colt, etc. If you are shopping for a handgun, find a shooting range that rents guns for use of the range, and try as many as you can.
Normally 50. Some specialty self defence ammo comes 25 or 20 to a box.

I have had good success with Federal rifle ammo.
It is the same cartridge
11.5 mm bullet diameter
20 mm cannons.
"Best" is subjective. A really good definitition of best is, the ammo that functions the most reliably in your particular gun.
Try different brands to see what works best in YOUR rifle. Federal makes very good ammo that shoots well for many people.
9mm Luger.
if you mean 7.35 carcano look on gunbroker there is a gentleman nambu1 who reloads for it and has very resonable prices
The manual does not say either way, but most modern 9 mm pistols can handle +P ammo unless it is specifically prohibited. Best thing to do is to email the company.
No. The AK-47 is only chambered in 7.62x39mm. A 5.56x45mm round would not fit in its chamber. However, the modernized AK-101 is chambered in 5.56mm.
