Rechargable batteries are the best. Digital Camera's really go through batteries, so find some NiMH rechargeables (brand name really doesn't matter) with a high mAh rating. mAh stands for "milliampere hours" the higher the mAh the more battery power you have. I've found that anything in the 1800 mAh range & up works well, but of course the higher the better. Personally I like using camera's that take "AA" batteries for the simple fact that you can find them anywhere. I hope this helps, rf186
