Honestly, it is all opinionated.

World at War - Nacht Der Untoten - great for first time experience.

Verrückt - A map for great experienced and/or Unexperienced players

Shi No Numa - A big map recommended for 2-4 players.

Der Riese - Enjoyable map for may players.

Black Ops - Kino Der Untoten - A map for a variety of players

Five - A difficult map for experienced players.

Dead Ops - A game mode to match classic arcade games

Ascension - A map best played with others (2 - 4 players). Can be played solo easily as well

Call of the Dead - A map enjoyed by many, large Solo or Co-op

Since Call of the Dead isn't yet available for Sony Playstation 3 (May 28, 2011) The info is based off of Xbox Players.

this year hopefully Map Pack 3 came out in August 2009. Do not expect Pack pack 4 as the Call of Duty Black Ops, a sequel to the Call Of Duty World at War game was released on November 9 2010. The next Map Pack will undoubtedly be for Call of Duty Black Ops
