Tough question because of personal preference and musical style. Personally, I used to swear by Squier by Fender (Telecaster models). However, since moving to a Les Paul style body and tone, I would say the best deal out there is the Epiphone Les Paul Special II. Very versatile tone either clean or distorted, comfortable and prices around $200 (or $100 used). I own one as a backup to my Epiphone Les Paul Goth model.
The best material for electric guitar strings is generally considered to be nickel-plated steel.
Ultimate-Guitar.com is widely regarded as the best website for finding electric guitar tabs.

This is how I earned enough money to buy an electric guitar:
It depends on personal preference classical music would be best played on a classical guitar, metal would sound best on electric acoustic is a different sound so it is up to personal preference

The best way to amplify an electric guitar using an acoustic amp is to use a preamp pedal designed for electric guitars. This will help match the tone and characteristics of the electric guitar to the acoustic amp, resulting in a better sound quality.
