Ho-oh is particularly difficult to catch. Sometimes normal pokeballs work however i recommend dusk balls as they often work. You can get them at Olivine/ Blackthorne city if you are in Johto or Saffron City in Kanto. Ultra balls do too but you normally need to use alot. But then again i have seen someone capture ho-oh with just one ultra ball so yeah :D

∙ 13y agoIn any Pokemon game the best ball to get is the Master Ball.It is impossible for it to fail.You only are supposed to get one,though there are cheat codes to get like 100 of them.
