Leviticus is the book about the way God tells us to live our lives. Parts of Deuteronomy and Exodus have some words of wisdom for life. Many people use the New Testament instead or even use it to contradict the Old Testement. Jesus mainly told us of things to come, and cleared up misconceptions. Take for example, Matthew 5:43-44 KJV. (KJV is the version I use personally, use what ever version you use.) Ye have heard that it hath been said, thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy, but I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. Many take this to say that Old Testement says hate your enemy; however, the Old Testement never said that. It was the Pharisees that led people to believe that. I hope my answer will help you. I wish you a good day. - Jacob (Sorry If I messed up the text size, I'm not sure if this is the entirely right size.)
Yes! (check out Genesis chapter 1 in the Bible.)
The book of Psalms chapter 90. It says man will live 70 years only.
The Bible was written at a time when everyone tried to live within their environment. The Bible doesn't say anything about the connection between what man does and the Weather. If someone tells you that it does, have them show you, in your Bible, book, chapter and verse.
The verse "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" is found in the book of Exodus, chapter 22, verse 18 in the King James Version of the Bible. This verse is often interpreted differently based on context and translation.
Live by the Bible could be translated as 'vivre selon la bible' in French
Writers, whether of the bible or any other book, do not plan to use certain words a certain number of times, they merely say what they have to say, using the words which will express their thoughts. This is influenced by their subject matter (the word God appears more often in the bible than it does in most other books) and by the culture in which the writers live (the word automobile does not appear in the bible, since automobiles did not exist at the time the bible was written). Numerological analysis of the frequency with which words appear in the bible will get you nowhere.
It's not a "religion". They're actually written in red letters in the New Testament of the Bible, spoken by Jesus Christ himself. It's best to start looking with Matthew chapter 5.
100% obedience best topic in the christian religion lk.4:4 is the best verse in the christian bible if you live by every word in the bible everything god got is your's in this world and the world to come 1tim.4:8
Words taken directly from the bible are best. Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe the individual was "taken by God to be an angel", they do no believe people have an alloted time on earth so they con't usually say his or her "time had come". Jehovah's Witnesses DO believe in a ressurrection, so the bible promises that the dead one will one day live again are acceptable.
Matthew chapter 24, 2 Timothy 3:1-6, most of revelation, there are many more that describe the times we live in and what we should be doing.
The phrase "live your life" does not appear anywhere in the KJV bible.
