Well, there are many different perspectives to this answer. Let's see:
Monday- Well there goes your week. Yes, you might be able to get out of work for a few days, but then your not getting paid or you are losing vacation days.
Tuesday- Tuesday is right after Monday. You still have a terrible week to look forward to.
Wednesday- You've done enough work this week to be tired and now you have to go to surgery and take these last two days off of work. However, you might be better in time for the weekend.
Thursday- Thursday is so close to the weekend that the last thing you want to do is go into surgery.
Friday- In my opinion, this is the worst day to go into surgery. You are finally free to enjoy the weekend- NOT! Your weekend is you in pain on the couch eating vanilla ice cream and watching Desperate Housewives while your friends are at Baseball games with their kids.
Saturday- Everybody has plans on Saturday. From picking up your kids from soccer practice to going on that movie date, the last thing you want to do is go into surgery. Unless you want to impress your date with a cool scar.
Sunday- Sunday is stereotypically a day of relaxation to hang out with your family, go on a picnic, or even a Sunday drive. Surgery does not sound relaxing to me.
Well there you go. You decide what day would be the worst.

∙ 14y agoWell, for one thing, it's not Monday or Friday. On Mondays, doctors are just getting back into the groove of work, and on Friday, they are looking forward to the weekend.
