I use the Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil extended life. It can go 15,000 miles. But I change it at 10,000 because of the filter might be getting plugged up. Do it myself because of cost but even if you go to a place ask for it. Then you don't have to go to as often. Also, my mechanic told me that synthetic keeps your car engine cleaner as other regular motors oil will gunk up over time if you don't change them every 3000 miles.
