Groudon is the best ground Pokemon. It has 150 in base attack (only four Pokemon has higher!), so Groudon can do some serious damage with earthquake. Groudon also has a special ability which automatically makes the weather sunny, and it can learn powerful fire attacks like Eruption + Solarbeam, which is really useful in the sunny weather.

∙ 14y agoIn Pokémon Platinum, all of the ground-type moves are Bone Club, Bone Rush, Bonemerang, Dig, Earth Power, Earthquake, Fissure, Magnitude, Mud Bomb, Mud Shot, Mud Sport, Mudslap, Sand Tomb, Sand Attack and Spikes.
