It depends. If you live in a state that allows use of a centerfire rifle, I would choose a simple bolt action model. There are many. You will also need to choose the caliber of bullet. I suggest the .243 Winchester but there are many good ones.
If your state does not allow centerfire rifles, then you could use a 12-guage shotgun with slugs. I suggest a simple pump action like the Remington 870. Get one that has iron sights on the barrel or a scope. If you only will hunt deer with it, get a barrel that is rifled. Then load it with 3-inch shells that are suited for either the rifled barrel or smooth bore, depending on barrel you have.
Either way, be sure to become proficient with the gun. Become a good, safe shooter.
I would recommend for average sized game deer(Where I live Red Stags) a Remington 700 Civil Model chambered in .270.For large game it's more of an ammunition concern and there I would recommend 30-06 150-180 Grain or maybe a Bolt Action scoped rifle chambered in Winchester .300.Another good weapon is a compound bow for States and Countries that do not permit firearms.I recomend getting a custom built bow(or even a recurve).
22 magmum
lol. you cant hunt deer with a 22!
well, first starting out, like a .243, or .30-30, but i like the 30.06
I have killed over 30 deer and about 20 antelope and 3 elk with my .30.06 its the ONLY gun i will EVER use
i would also suggest a 30-06, 7.62x39, or .308, these are all good calibers.
i would suggest a BAR, (Browning Automatic Rifle) or an ak-47, 7.62x39, or any .308 rifle
or you could use a 12 or 20 gauge shotgun, i would use 12.
good 12 gauges are:
remington870
mossburg500

A 12 or 20 guage shotgun is the most popular gun for Dove. It might be an over/ under, or a pump or semi that holds a max of 3 shells. # 7 and a half shot works for me.
Note to prior post- In the US, air rifles for dove violate Federal game laws. Doves are a migratory bird, and as such are under Federal law.
To humanely kill a deer requires accurate shot placement, which requires practice. So the best rifle for a youth to hunt with, is one that he or she can practice with frequently and affordably. This means you need to find a rifle with low recoil (so the shooter won't mind practicing with it) and easy to find, not-too-expensive ammo.
Many states have a minimum caliber to hunt deer of .24", excluding soft-recoiling guns like the .223. So you'll want to focus on .243 caliber and up (check to make sure this caliber is legal for deer in your state). Any such rifle, with modern ammunition and accurate shot placement, will humanely kill a deer.
Remington makes a Model 770 (based on their famous and well-reputed Model 700) with a shorter stock for youth shooters, in .243 Winchester, for around $300: http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/41970
If .243 is legal to hunt deer with in your state, this would be an ideal gun for a young hunter.
A high powered rifle with upwards of 3000 ft/lbs take down power. Try a 30-06 with 180 + grain
Depends on your hunting style. A person who aims well should get a rifle and a scope, while a person who charges up to a turkey should consider a shotgun.
The best deer hunting gun you can use Ceaser Garuni. That gun is all good and all but it is too expencive and so if you want a great gun and you don't want to waste money you need a Browning BPS Deer Hunter. deer hunting is boring go for birds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Depends on what your hunting, if you are going wing shooting, its a Benelli Ultralight. If its deer or elk, I'm gonna say a 30-06.
Slugs! If its rifled it is a deer hunting barrel.
Deer taken by gun rifle/slug and by bow.
That will depend on the individual. Some will prefer a shotgun and others a rifle.
BB guns are NOT for hunting. It will not kill a deer. The Answer is NO.

The hunting season for Haywood County, North Carolina, begins for bow and arrow from September 7 to October 3 and then October 12 to November 21. Muzzleloader for deer season is from October 5 to October 10. Gun for deer season is from November 23 until December 12.
beagle for gun hunting. Labrador for bow hunting.
"Browning" The best there is for extreme hunting
They are very similar. Deer and elk are much alike anatomically, though elk tend to be larger. For this reason, a different caliber gun may be required for an elk. Guns like a 7mm rifle will do fine for deer, but it's questionable for elk. A 30-06 is typically a good gun for both.
