rb25dett its the skyline engine the sr20 is a little cheaper if your going to spend the money go rb 25 and get much more performance and alot less people have that engine in there swapped 240s so it makes it unique.
Sure it will, they are the same motor.
Yes. The ka24de motor is used from 95 through 98.not just used from 95 to 98 because i have a 1990 240sx with a ka24de in it
Yes the two transmissions are interchangeable.
Putting too much motor oil into your motor can be as destructive as to little oil. You will need to drain the excess oil from the oil pan.
Yes, some '92 240sx' came with the ka24de motor.
yes it will with the correct engine mounts, cross member and loom
you can get it from a junkyard for like 5 bucks, any 240sx window motor will work. dont go to a dealer because I went and they tried to charge $100.
The easiest engine swaps for a 240sx would be an sr20det or a ca18det as these require no modification to the motor mount location.
Depends what motor. 240SX had the SAME EXACT block with very little differances. Many Hardbody owners switch to the 240sx Intakes and cam. The transmissions however have different ratios. The cams are different too. The "Car" cams had more HP and less torque then the "truck" cams. The "Truck" cams maxed torque a full 1000 rpms sooner too.
