There is no simple answer to this simple question. It really depends how you qualify the "best" school. Usually by this people mean which nursing school has the highest success rate in the nursing licensure exams. The California state nursing board publishes a list of the schools with the highest pass rates in the RN-NCLEX exams - that is probably the best place to start. But the figures can be confusing - some schools have a 100% pass rate, but have a very small number of students. Some have a relatively low pass rate, but may be a lot easier to get into! At the end of the day, a great deal will depend on how you personally apply yourself.
