Frost is the best spec to survive moreso i will choose frost :D
Frost!
This really depends on what you are wanting to do with your mage. Frost mage's seem to be better at PvP right now due to all the slows and the extra frost nova from the frost mage's water elemental. Arcane mages can do some crazy DPS in raids if they are played right. Of course, this all depends on if you know how to play each spec right. It is advisable to go to either the official forums or one of the many fansites on the internet to get the best spell rotation, stat priority, and class knowledge from the "elite" WoW players.
If looking for a warrior your best bet is either to get lydia the housecarl whom will do just about anything or rank up in the companions and take any of them... A mage companion would be best obtained from the college of winterhold but if they die you lose access to the college!
1:Get World of Warcraft. 2:Make an Undead Mage character. 3:Spend your talent points on Frost talents.
Beast Mage is not a class, it's a "build", basically, get a high Intelligence stat and high Charisma, and then use the best pets and spells that are available
a warlock is good with a mage cause there both range and nice dps well i think it is cause my bro is warlock and im a frost arcane mage and my bro war demonic and we totaly pwned in dungeons pvp, quests, arena's and raids
Balanced mage Kind of high of everything Reroute, deadly aim, and healing is the key for a good tech mage build
Frostbolt is a 2 mana mage frost spell that does 3 damage and freezes the target.
the best mage weapon is the fire staff. you can get it from undead fire mages. plus it sells for a lot.
