The best way without using any range roads (from Calgary to Saskatoon) is: -use highway 9 to get to drumheller -then use highway 10 (which becomes 570) to get to the saskatchewan border -then take highway 41 in saskatchewan north to Alsask -take highway 7 to Saskatoon If you're cool with taking rang roads (gravel) for a tiny bit, you can shave a pretty good amount of time by taking highway 564 from highway 9 until you can turn left on highway 848, which will connect you with highway 570, at which point you will continue the same as above.
