I have 19, two feet seedlings of a foxtail palm. I need to know what soil to use in pots and if they can be plased on the North side of the house.

It depends what type of palm tree you have. Some palm trees like the shade and others dont. Some like the type of soil that a lemon tree thrives in and others that would die. Over fertilizing palm trees is a common mistake. If you find that you have done this, repotting the plant in new soil may be your best bet. You can also trying flushing plenty of water through the soil with a garden hose and a well draining pot, but this runs the risk of over watering.
