I recommend Pikachu. It's good, but it doesn't learn moves quickly. But it is powerful. Useful against the legendary birds (Except Zaptos, but Zaptos is weak anyway because it's the first big boss.) The worst one is Machop. It is weak to ALL the bosses, as my mate went against Skarmory. He walked forward. Skarmory used peck. Oh, no! Machop fainted!
