I love "Always Infinity" for a pad,
and my favorite tampon is "Tampax Pearl".
I think I like pads better, they are overall more comfortable.
They don't work as well though.

It's not a case of tampons or pads either, if you use tampons you still have to use pads as it's unhygienic and unhealthy to use tampons throughout your period - when using tampons you have to use pads with light flow, overnight, and alternate with pads. So it's tampons and pads, or pads.
If you're asking about what types or brands are best: cloth pads or organic cotton tampons/pads - commercial brands such as Always or Tampax pose higher risks of infections and TSS, cloth or organic options are far safer as they're made from natural materials and not bleached or chemically treated so don't contain toxins, cloth pads are also more comfortable as they keep you drier.
