What is the best hair dye to use?

Hair can be dyed in two ways, you can either use a temporary hair color which last from shampoo to shampoo or you can do it permanently by either adding a color or removing pigment from your hair (lighteners/bleach). Some temporary hair colors can be added to your hair dry or wet straight from the bottle. Just comb your hair down and apply it as you go, afterwards just shampoo and style.

To do it permanently you follow the same directions when applying it, mainly these products are applied to dry hair. These type of products come with hydrogen peroxide which needs to be mixed together completely then applied to your hair, afterwards you can shampoo and style.

With semi-permanent hair colors no mixing are needed, you apply to your hair and then shampoo and style.

If you are using lighteners/bleach these products must be mixed with a proper strength developer, such as a 10, 20, 30 or 40 volume, this will lightened your hair. Be sure to mix these items equally using the correct ratio. This must be applied to dry hair. After you have reached your desired color you wash your hair, conditioned it and style as desired. You can also apply a toner or other temporary colors over this. You should always follow the manufacturers directions, which ever system you use comes with instructions on how to apply and when not to apply dyes and color systems to your hair.

If you have to color your hair at home I would suggest avoiding box color. You are depending on a box that does not know the color that your hair is currently or what you previously have put on your hair. It would be best to go to a salon and do it.. There are many salons that are affordable.It costs more for you to color your own hair and then turn it the wrong color and have to get it fixed at a salon. If you absolutely have to color your own hair i would suggest going to a sally beauty supply at least.

I am wondering this same thing I was logging in hoping to get an answer. I have used Loreal Feria brand and have used it many times in the past. I love the shimmer it gives to my hair. I dyed my hair black using that brand and now my hair turning back brown and it has only been 2 weeks. The other issue I am having is I am losing a lot of hair on my brush and in the shower. I need to find a different black hair dye. I have not have any other issues with the other colors and I do highly recommend it just not apparently for black LOL!

The best way to strip your hair is to go to a hair salon and get it done professionally your going to save your hair from falling out. Trust me , don't do it yourself , get a hairdresser to do it , it may be pricey but its worth it.

The best way to wash your hair is in sections. Divid you hair into three parts washing each separately with separate rinses, then one overall rinse. This works great if you have thick hair. The overall process takes about 7-10 mins.

I would reccomend a temporary dye that washes out. Such as splat hair colors which washes out with a few shampooings.
