Is a ktm faster than a Yamaha?
ktms are faster then yamahas because yamahas are from japan which use basic but strong parts, which deliver a set amount of power , ktms are from germany which are upgraded parts with a bit less strength but deliver a great amount more power, but although the ktms are a great deal quicker , you could change a yamahas sprockets for more top end which could end up being that same

Should I get a KX 100 or a KTM 105 and is a KTM 105 that much better than a KTM 85?
What dirt bike should a 175 pound male beginning rider start with?
What 85cc is the best?
Yamaha is by far the best because there the most powerful the most durable the most dependable. Ktms cost way to much and they normally are good for beginners because they don't go to much power. they aren't very dependent either. Suzuki is getting better but not good enough only bike that evens comes close to the Yamaha is the Honda.

What is the best bike out of Honda ktm kawasaki suzuki Yamaha?
Depends what size and year you are looking at. I'm a huge KTM fan as they have incredible bikes in my opinion. Kawasaki's are great too, but if you're looking for a 250-450 for a decent price while still good quality go Suzuki RMZ250/450. They have been rated best stock bike in shootouts for a few years now by Motocross Action Magazine and are cheaper than KTMs.

How much compression does a ktm 65 have from the factory?
Not an easy question to answer. Compression readings are greatly impacted by your gauge, altitude, air density etc. I have seen many places where the compression on a KTM 65 should be at least 135PSI. I live at 7,000 feet, I purchased a cheap Harbor Freight compression gauge. I tested compression on 2 new KTM 65s and 2 Cobra 50s. The KTMs read between 88 and 95 PSI, the Cobras read between 60 and 65 psi. All the bikes run great and have plenty of power. I know my gauge reads low, I also had to use an adapter to fit the gauge on the cylinder head. From what I understand the adaptor also adversely impacts readings. I think the best bet calls for measuring compression when the engine is new, record the PSI, date temperature, elevation and gauge used as a benchmark. Check the compression again at intervals, when compression drops by more than 10% from the benchmark consider a rebuild. When compression drops by more than 20% rebuild is imminent.
