Make sure it's by itself. Don't go for the wolves that are in threes. That'll make it impossible and your life will go down faster. They hit high, so make sure you're either high level or have drunk a lot of health boosters or have lots of potions (when you want to drink potions, get away from the wolf so it doesn't follow and drink). When he leaps at you and is kinda stung, go at it really quick (you'll never get it perfect, so obviously it's gonna hit you), and from that point, it's a matter of skill, speed, dodging, and having lots of health and/or potions. Oh, and the wolf is at the Whale's Fin...I forget which one but it has the tower where you meet Iris.
