it will normally say on the manual or if you go to the airsoft shops they will tell you but if you want you can just pick some random ones (0.2 universal bb's) and ajust the hop up .....not more than 0.3 for electric guns and gas pistols but for gas rifles and snipers maybe just a bit more all depends on how good your hop up is.
