The Volvo 1800 dashboard is held in place with for retaining bolts and 12 retaining clips. Remove the retaining bolts and pry outward on each retaining clip.

Under the dash above the radio remove the plastic panel this is a common place for the CB check under there.
Undo the 2 screws on the plastic cover around the dash. Remove it and you will see 3 more screws. Pull the clocks to the side and you will see the all the little bulbs.

Remove the 5 amp fuse from the fuse compartment next to driver's door to left of dash. In my 2003 v70. It is fuse #38. But best to check your manual. Someone else said it was fuse 29. I think it depends on the model year. Remove fuse and you should be good to go.
On the left side of the dash remove the panel to access the fuse center. On the inside of the panel look for a label for the fuses. Remove the one marked Siren.
In the housing of the hazard dash switch, you can unmount it pulling it forward out of the dash.
I own a 2001 Volvo v40 and the interior cabin filter is on the passenger side under the dash. Where the passengers feet would be. There was one cover I had to unscrew & remove and then the filter was exposed. Good Luck!
take apart the glovebox and look towards your right side of the dash and it should be there a white fan shape like a soda bottle.
Underneath the dash on the drivers side. You must remove the plastic panel underneath the steering wheel to access the fuse box .
There are several bulbs for dash illumination. They are attached to the backside of the dash cluster. The best way to access the bulbs would be to remove the dash cluster.
